It all boils down to only this and nothing else: Either you believe that Steorn are a bunch of cruel cynical hypocritical selfish frauds, promising starving people in Africa water and food without meaning it, or you believe that they are honest good people -even idealists- that simply speak the truth.

When you see and hear the Steorn people speak, consult your intuition and gut feeling, and unless you have swept those under the old rug of reasoning based on the laws of nature as they have been known until now, you will get a clear answer. And until you get it, it would behoove you to withhold your attacks on Steorn.
Do you really believe that -although up until now new insights have constantly changed previous views of reality- now this time we finally have it right and have a view of it that will never change forever?

Lode : Isn't that what I believe is called a "False Dichotomy" ? Many people have over a long, long time thought that they know better than the Laws of Thermodynamics and used exactly the same language about overthrowing previous certainties. You seem to like your self-aggrandising quotes so I leave you this quote to consider:

It's not that I don't necessarily believe that "free energy" is possible, and without breaking the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics it could be that this machine taps into a hitherto unknown energy source, it's just that having read the website it just looks like a load of bollocks. There are a couple of technical sounding but clearly meaningless statements such as "time variant mechano magnetic engineering"while not explaining anything and saying the intellectual property will be released afterwards. But if it is Steorns intellectual property then they can just release it now! What a load of rubbish.

Oh yeah, I forgot to add this; the technology will be released "for a nominal fee"....says it all really.

As usual there's someone bleating about thermodynamics and applying those theories to a device that doesn't ustilse the theory. I wish people would stop jumping on the close-minded "thermodynamics" bandwagon, it's so feckin' boring.
