Widget-maker MadKast raises $300k
Madkast, the maker of a widget for sharing blog posts with only a single click, has raised $300,000.
The most interesting thing about the company is its ease of use — it lets you share posts via instant messages, email, MMS text messages and social bookmarking sites.
It joins the ranks of hundreds of other widget-makers trying to provide interesting widgets. The number of competitors will only grow as larger widget companies like Widgetbox and Dapper have recently launched features that allow anyone to create their own widgets (our coverage).
