Facebook: Party like it’s 1999

(Update: We contacted Facebook yesterday, but hadn’t heard back. Facebook, responding today to our story, claims Facebook co-founder Moskovitz wasn’t at the wild SF party we described. Our source was present at the house during the party. However, under further questioning, our source, who does not know Moskovitz personally, now says it’s possible the person dressed up could have been a Founder’s Fund member, or some other prankster. The house was owned by members of the Founders Fund – at least until recently. The Founders fund invested in Facebook. Moskovitz has since supplied us with an IM log he had Friday evening, as an alibi. So if it wasn’t him, who was it? We’re going to pull the story for now.)

People are losing respect for Facebook more and more each day. While I used to admire the company, they are getting out of hand.

I'm a college student and I have a good pulse of my peers' opinions and usage of Facebook. It's declining. They are getting creeped out, and pretty annoyed with all the stupid applications. No doubt, we still use it, but it's more of a utility (like e-mail, txt msging) than an exciting novelty.
