[Update: Tickets are selling fast. About a half day after posting this, we’ve sold 150 tickets.]
Tickets are now on sale for the Crunchies award ceremony, the Friday, Jan. 18 event in San Francisco co-hosted by GigaOm, Read/Write Web, TechCrunch and VentureBeat.
We anticipate this should be a lot of fun. With help from you the readers, this is a way to recognize the most innovative start-ups and talented entrepreneurs. Tickets are available here. Of the $40 price, $10 will be donated t0 the American Heart Association.
The event will be held at the Herbst Theater at 7:30pm. Festive attire welcome. After-party to follow. We’ve got a number of surprises that we’ll be announcing over the next couple of weeks. The first – in addition to the startup awards, Richter Scales will be singing their famous but outlawed Here Comes Another Bubble song live at the event — this time free from copyright concerns.
More than 45,000 votes have been cast for 100 finalist startups in the 20 award categories. We’re eager to know who wins. You can still cast your vote.
If you’re interested in orchestra seats as an event sponsor, please contact Jeannie Logozzo. Many thanks to the existing sponsors Adobe, Charles River Ventures, Mayfield Fund, Microsoft, OurStage and Sun.
