Nexage raises $500,000, launches new mobile video service
Mobile services provider Nexage has raised another $500,000 in angel funding, in part to deploy its new mobile video service, called PhoneCast Pro 2.0.
Phonecast is a mobile video service used by ten clients including top broadcasters, the company claims, to automate the process of uploading, managing and delivering mobile video content. Among other services, Nexage also offers a mobile video advertising feature, so advertisers and ad agencies can run ads within it.
The Fremont, Calif.-based company plans to raise another round of funding within the next half a year. It has previously raised $2 million from unnamed angel investors.
