Content archive middleman PerfectMarket pulls in $15.6 million in venture funding
PerfectMarket, a Pasadena-based startup focusing in helping web publishers monetize archived content, has announced it raised $15.6 million in venture funding. The company helps media publishers, particularly those still heavily involved in traditional media, to take little-seen older articles and expose them to both readers and advertisers. Particpating in this round of funding was Rustic Canyon Partners from Santa Monica, CA and Trinity Ventures, out of Menlo Park, CA. There was additional participation from Square 1 Bank and original investor Idealab of Pasadena, CA.
