Kurtosys raising round for financial compliance software

Kurtosys Systems is raising a new round of venture funding for its financial compliance software business.

The London company was founded in 2002 with the aim of creating reporting and information management software for financial services companies. It creates software that enables a company to comply with financial reporting laws. The company has offices in London and New York. The company’s offerings include software for reporting portfolio results to investors such as private banks and wealth managers, fund administration and asset servicing, and investment management.

VentureBeat has learned that the company is raising an $8.5 million second round. Investors include True Ventures of Palo Alto, Calif. The company did not respond to a request for comment.
