Zimbio, a Redwood City, Calif.-based creator of online magazines, has raised $6.8 million in a first round of funding, according to VentureWire. Zimbio allows users to create “wikizines,” which the company says are interactive magazines. The funding was led by Menlo Ventures, with participation from Draper Richards.
