As part of our effort to find the most exciting companies and products to launch at the DEMOfall conference in September, Chris Shipley and I are making several stops around the country meeting with local entrepreneurs. Next up is Seattle!
On Monday, June 22, we're joining up with TechFlash co-founders John Cook and Todd Bishop -- for a casual evening of cocktails and conversation at Spitfire bar in Belltown. John and Todd recently launched TechFlash to focus on news coverage of entrepreneurship in Seattle, and have been doing an excellent job.

We'll start at 6pm sharp. The first 40 folks through the door receive a drink ticket good for your favorite beer or wine. Make sure you register.
I like the idea of doing it at the Spitfire. The bar tried to open up a spot at the Microsoft campus, and despite getting an initial agreement on the plan, Microsoft backtracked after considering the potential impact of a bar in its midst. The evening will be a great chance to network, even if you're not immediately launching a company in time for DEMO. It's open to any interested professional. Chris and I will talk a little more about the new stuff we're introducing to DEMO, which is the leading conference for launching emerging technology products (See the long list of innovators who have launched at DEMO).

Chris and I will then be available on Tuesday, June 23, to have meetings with local companies that want to launch or pitch at DEMO. If you’d like to meet with us, please send in an application and send me an email, and we’ll contact you to set up a time for a meeting.
Separately, as a reminder, we’ll be holding DEMO days in San Francisco. Chris and I will hold open June 18 to meet with candidates for the fall conference. Again, fill out an application, and we’ll get in touch to set a time.
[John Cook, of TechFlash, has just posted here about the cocktails.]
