VentureBeat-DEMO hit Seattle, and the sun is actually shining!

We had a great cocktail party last night in Seattle, with more than 150 entrepreneurs, investors and other professionals showing up at the Spitfire bar downtown.

Chris Shipley and I found flew in yesterday, only to hit the usual mass of thick clouds that cover Seattle. But today, the sun broke through again (and resumed one of the longest, sunniest spells in Seattle ever). We’ve been holding meetings and calls all day with local entrepreneurs considering launching at DEMO.

Thanks to John Cook, of Techflash, who co-hosted the event with us, and who helped pull out the crowd. Below is the gallery of shots taken at the party. Peter Fosso, the guy next to me in the picture below, for example, is a local entrepreneur with a stealth project. Even Ben Huh, creator of I Can Has Cheezburger, showed up. Looking forward to seeing some of these folks at DEMO!
