Danoo and Ideacast relaunch as Reach Media Group

Two startups that specialize in providing ad displays in places where people are on the move — from Starbucks to airplane seats — have rebranded themselves as Reach Media Group.

San Francisco-based Danoo acquired IdeaCast last month. Danoo specializes in displaying digital video ads at coffee shops and other “out of home” locations, while IdeaCast has displays in places such as gyms and airline seats. Together, the companies are now working as a single entity that focuses on business travelers, health and fitness, and the “urban mobile” network.

The combined network can reach 15,000 displays that deliver more than 30 million ad impressions per month. The displays are available at 150 airports, 7,800 airline seat TVs, 700 health clubs, 850 urban venues such as coffee shops.
