DEMO: Enthusem.com combines printed greeting cards with web technology

enthusem-logoEnthusem.com is a new website that lets users print out greetings cards that are connected to online content. For example, you could take a picture with your iPhone and turn it into a printed postcard in minutes, then add a link to your Twitter handle.

The company demonstrated creating a card onstage today at DEMOfall 09, the emerging technology conference co-produced by VentureBeat. It was simple, as promised: You enter the name and address if the recipient, type in a message, select an image, select an online attachment that you want the card to point to, and hit send. The card costs $2 to $4 and can be sent to anywhere in the world.

Enthusem also allows you to send cards not just from the Enthusem website, but also from other services liked LinkedIn and Microsoft Outlook. Beyond consumers, this could be useful for sales and marketing teams wanting to create promotional material.http://c.brightcove.com/services/viewer/federated_f8/980795693
