Soasta raises another $10M to 'cloud test' your website

soasta logoSoasta, which offers testing services to make sure your website remains stable even as it draws a larger audience, has raised $10 million in a third round of funding.

The Mountain View, Calif., company says CloudTest On-Demand is easy to use — just log onto the browser-based service and describe the website process that you want to examine, such as logging into an account or browsing content. Then Soasta will test those processes and provide “massive” results that help you find and fix any issues. The company says it has done testing for Best Buy, MySpace, SAP, and Zappos.com, among others.

The new round was led by UV Partners, with participation from existing investors Canaan Partners, Formative Ventures, and The Entrepreneurs’ Fund. Soasta previously raised $8.4 million.
