Aperto Networks, a company that sells WiMax equipment, has brought in $292,000 in equity, according to a filing with the SEC. Based in Milpitas, Calif., it is backed by Canaan Partners, Alliance Ventures, GunnAllen Venture Partners, Innovacom, Jafco Ventures, JK&B Capital, Quicksilver Ventures and Tyco Ventures.
