Deltagen buys Benten Bio to expand biopharmaceutical business
Deltagen, a San Mateo, Calif.-based drug distribution company, has acquired Benten BioServices, a privately-held firm that takes care of contracting for the pharmaceutical industry, according to VentureWire. Delaware-headquartered Benten previously raised funds from Life Sciences Greenhouse and Penn Venture Partners.
