Zurb gives entrepreneurs visible website feedback with Bounce

Trying to get feedback from others around website development or design can be a difficult process. Especially when you’re trying to do it through email or over the phone. In an effort to make the process a bit easier, design and consulting firm Zurb today announced the release of Bounce, a new visual feedback application for websites.

The free application helps make it easy and fast to communicate your website ideas. No login or registration is required. Just go to the main Bounce page and enter any URL. The app then takes a screen grab of the web page and provides you with a nifty selection tool to highlight areas with red boxes (see image bel0w) and include text feedback.  If your website isn’t live yet, you can also upload an image. Each Bounce page has a unique URL so that you can simply share it with others to continue the feedback process.

The company, which launched at this spring’s DEMO conference, has two other main products: Verify, a platform for gaining feedback and user experience data, and Notable, an enhanced version of Bounce with additional features, including privacy settings and feedback around website code and search engine optimization.

A host of website design collaboration tools exist, including ProofHQ and GetSignOff. Though if you’re looking for quick and easy, Bounce may be the way to go.

Located in Campell, California, Zurb was founded by Bryan Zmijewski in 1998 (pictured above) and has done work for major sites like eBay, Facebook, Yahoo and BritneySpears.com.
