Amazon’s slick new 7-inch Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD tablets are now available to purchase online.
Just last week, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos took the stage in Santa Monica, Calif. to debut new Kindles, including a Kindle Paperwhite e-reader, a refreshed Kindle Fire, a 7-inch Kindle Fire HD, and an 8.9-inch Kindle Fire HD.
While we’ll have to wait until Nov. 20 for the 8.9-inch Kindle Fire to ship, Amazon’s 7-inch tablets and new $69 Kindle e-reader are here today. If you want the absolute lowest price for a decent color tablet, the $159 Kindle Fire is worth a look. But if you’re willing to pay up just a bit more, the $199 Kindle Fire HD and Google’s Nexus 7 are the two best 7-inch tablets we’ve seen yet.
Let us know in the comments if you plan to buy a Kindle from Amazon’s new lineup.
