Career website Glassdoor today released its report on the “Highest Paying Jobs In Demand.” In the list of the top 25 U.S. jobs, 14 were in tech — more than half, and thus more than any other industry (health care was second, with four jobs).

Glassdoor’s list is ordered by average base salary (not to be confused with the top jobs list). For a job title to be considered, it had to receive at least 75 salary reports shared by U.S.-based employees over the past year and had to also be in the top 50th percentile for number of job openings per job title.

Without further ado, here are the U.S. tech jobs that made the cut:

  1. Software Architect
  2. Software Development Manager
  3. Solutions Architect
  4. Analytics Manager
  5. IT Manager
  6. Product Manager
  7. Data Scientist
  8. Security Engineer
  9. QA Manager
  10. Computer Hardware Engineer
  11. Database Administrator
  12. UX Designer
  13. Software Engineer
  14. Sales Engineer

The first five tech jobs placed in the top 10 of the full list. Software architect was #1 in tech, and it placed third overall. Software development manager was second in tech but fourth overall, and solutions architect was third in tech but sixth overall. Software engineer jobs were found to be in highest demand, despite being at the bottom of the tech list.

Glassdoor’s report is based on what employees anonymously say about their employer. Job openings per job title (normalized to account for similar titles for the same position) were counted by adding up the total number posted on Glassdoor over the past three months.
