The Apple Watch, coming soon to wrists near you, may stand up to serious use for up to five hours, but that might not be long enough for some consumers.
Good news for those people: A wristband for the Apple Watch called the Reserve Strap can charge up the Watch while you're wearing it. The strap carries a magnetic inductive charging system and boasts a capacity of 400 mAh.
The catch? It'll cost you $249.99 -- if you want to preorder one.
But hey, if you're buying one of the fancy versions of the Apple Watch -- which could cost as much as $5,000 -- then maybe money isn't an object. Instead, a sweet wearable with a long battery life is the object.
The people behind the strap, former Mutual mobile chief executive John Arrow and former Nike+ "experience producer" Lane Musgrave, "don't have a firm release date or price point." Nevertheless, they say on their website, "we can't wait to share more details with you."
