Today T-Mobile promised customers that it will never raise the current price of their existing data plans. "Your rates may go down, but they won't go up," said T-Mobile U.S. executive John Legere.
Of course, this offer is part of T-Mobile's "Uncarrier" marketing campaign.
There is a catch, however: If you subscribe to an unlimited plan, your price may go up eventually -- T-Mobile only promises to not raise the price for two years.
It's certainly a nice pitch, although as users consume increasing amounts of data every year, that fixed price may not help customers if they need to buy more data every other year.
T-Mobile also announced a new suite of business services today.
