Today Facebook revealed two bits of news that will change the way content moves between Facebook and other sites.

Most interestingly, Facebook videos will soon be embeddable. This means it’ll be a lot easier for users to share videos elsewhere. Of course, this also offers content creators more incentive for uploading videos, since they have the potential to be shared a little more.

Previously, users had to embed entire Facebook comments to share Facebook videos on other sites.

Facebook also shared that its comments plugin will now sync with comment threads on Facebook. This means if you comment on a site, that comment will also show up on Facebook, thus unifying the experience. The feature is live for select publishers today.

“For publishers this means a much greater experience,” Facebook said. “For people, this means a more unified conversation … We’re rolling this out more broadly shortly” in beta, Facebook said.

Facebook announced the news during its annual developer conference, F8, in San Francisco. Follow along with us on Twitter and check out the latest breaking F8 news right here.
