Pandora said in a statement today that it will have its Apple Watch app ready in time for the new smartwatch's launch on April 24.
At launch, the Pandora app is limited in its functionality. It's basically a remote control for the Pandora app running on the paired iPhone.
The Pandora app lets you start listening to songs quickly via a command from the wrist. When you're listening to Pandora via your iPhone when going for a run, you can glance at the "Now Playing" screen on the Watch to see what artist Pandora is streaming at you.
"We are always on the lookout for the devices that are going to be immensely popular, and we feel that the Apple Watch marks another occasion to provide the best lean-back music experience," Martin said.
