International pet celebrity Grumpy Cat teamed up with Foursquare and Allie Cat Rescue (ACR) last week to help save homeless kittens. Today, the diva took time off her busy agenda — between Comic Con and a book release — to visit Foursquare’s New York headquarters and advocate for fellow felines.

We met her in Foursquare’s “cat room,” where she not-so-enthusiastically took pictures with employees and press.

Was she happy about it? Probably not.

Grumpy Cat, however, showed her support for the Foursquare initiative anyways, which gives a donation to ACR every time someone checks in to the Swarm app. After all, that was the least — or most — she could do after Foursquare created a sticker in her name.

This is clearly a stunt designed to promote Swarm, which is fair game, considering the app’s rocky launch last year. But this is also for charity, and it involves cats, so it’s pretty hard for us to hate on it.

Foursquare said it will donate up to $10,000 to ACR. The company also said it will probably hit that goal, thanks to last Saturday, when it apparently saw the most check-ins ever during a single day: 7 million.
