We’re probably among the last to mention this, but we’re really enjoying reading Xooglers, the new blog by Doug Edwards, the former Google marketing and brand director who’s recalling his five years inside the Googleplex. The blog is just a week old, but Edwards (with help from another ex-Googler) is keeping up a steady pace with crisp and engaging writing. Hard to believe, but this is perhaps the first ex-Googler blog that’s actually offering some insight into how the company operates. (Edwards, by the way, was a brand manager for the Mercury News. We saw him cruising the halls a lot before he joined Google, but never got to know him personally.)
