Instart Logic receives $43M in funding
Cloud application content delivery service Instart Logic announced today that it has raised $43 million in funding to be used to further expand its R&D efforts as well as its international footprint. The content delivery network serves customers like Shuttershock and Evite by speeding up the delivery of content via cloud.
Actiance raises $28M to accelerate company growth
Compliance and archival service Actiance announced today it has raised $28 million in its latest round of funding. Investors Golub Capital, Credit Suisse NEXT Investors, JK&B Capital, Scale Venture Partners, and Sutter Hill Ventures participated in the round. Actiance intends to use these funds to scale globally and extend product innovation.

Mediabong (no, not that one) inhales $5M for U.S. expansion
Mediabong has scored $5 million to come to the U.S.
No, this doesn’t mean the arrival of Net-connected pot-smoking devices, in spite of the fact that such a market opening apparently exists.
Instead, it means that the Paris-based video ad network of that name has come ashore with the recent opening of an office in New York City. The name, CEO and founder Laurent Bury told me via email, translates into “progression in media” in French. (Although when we tried the Google translator, it translated “bong” and “mediabong” into, well, “bong” and “mediabong.”)
Recruiter.com acquires over $350,000 in funding
Connecticut-based startup Recruiter.com has raised over $350,000 in investments in an angel round led by Thomas Zipp, Connecticut investor and businessperson. Zipp was subsequently appointed to the Board of Directors. The board will see additional members added as the year wears on.
