Microsoft is introducing a new app for Windows Phone 8.1 Lumia devices today, one that lets users tailor their home screens and lock screens with a personalized "parallax" effect.
Parallax design has been creeping further into Web and app design in recent times, helping to create a more immersive experience.
With the TileArt app, users will be able to select separate foreground and background images, creating a start screen that seemingly "floats," while they will also be able to download entire parallax themes from the TileArt gallery.
