Micello

Micello says it takes just a few hours to create each map, which incorporates crowdsourced data from its users. It hopes to add about 10 maps per day. It's focusing on the Bay Area for now, and will eventually expand to other areas. It will also add features like directing you from one store to another, as well as helping you find your car in the parking lot. The app is free, and will make money through advertising and promotions.

The company is launching its iPhone app at DEMOfall 09, the technology conference co-produced by VentureBeat. It's looking to raise a first round of institutional funding.[EMBED1]
