CrediFi real-estate platform receives $8M in funding
Analytic and data provider CrediFi has raised $8 million funding in the latest round led by Battery Ventures, with additional funding from Carmel Ventures and OurCrowd. CrediFi plans on expanding its customer-facing features with overall platform expansion in the commercial real estate market.
Explain Everything education service raises $2M
Explain Everything, an educational provider that offers multimedia content, secured $2 million in funding today in a round led by Credo Ventures. The service will implement the funding to meet demands for its K-12 educational services, as over 2 million people have used it to curate and multimedia presentations.
StrongDM raises $800K to push a new tool for detecting data errors
StrongDM, a startup with software for monitoring data as it comes in and generating alerts upon the discovery of errors, is announcing today an $800,000 round of seed funding.
The startup has released a beta version of its tool to seven customers, and now it’s planning to open up access to 25 more customers in the third quarter of this year, StrongDM cofounder and chief executive Liz Zalman said in an interview with VentureBeat.
SherpaShare raises $700K & launches on iPhone to help Uber, Lyft drivers earn even more
SherpaShare wants to be the analytics layer on top of the frothy ride-sharing industry. Today it announced a $700,000 seed round and launched on iOS.
Bay Area-based SherpaShare calls itself a “sharing economy analytics company.” The one-year-old startup offers analytics for Uber, Lyft, Sidecar, Postmates, Instacart, Sprig, and SpoonRocket drivers. The goal is to help them understand what they actually earn per hour, and maybe even help them earn more.
