Hospitality app Alice raises $3M to fix hotel customer service

Today New York-based Alice announced a $3 million funding round led by "Tishman Realty Principles and the Founders of NeueHouse." Alice says its service "allows guests to discover and request hotel amenities and services from their digital devices, while increasing the property’s operational efficiencies through a robust back-end task management and analytics platform."

Belgium-based Sortlist lands $620K to become the Match.com of marketers

If you’re looking for just the right digital marketing or ad agency, a new platform wants to help you find your “soulmate agency.” Brussels, Belgium-based startup Sortlist believes its new tool, which emerged last month from beta, does more than just give you a list of agencies. And it has scored a seed round of about $623,000 (550,000 Euros) so it can help make better matches.
