Today Google announced new apps for its Chromecast TV streaming device, introducing support for gaming giant Twitch, the insufferable Disney Channel, and radio streaming service iHeartRadio.
The addition of Twitch to Chromecast is particularly noteworthy, given the service's popularity. In fact, prior to this release, numerous third-party apps cropped up to provide a similar service for Chromecast owners. Now Twitch support is official, a nice addition for Twitch's 60 million users.
In addition to the three services named above, Google shares that Chromecast owners can now also stream dramas via DramaFever. Head here for a full list of supported services.
