JooJoo arrives at Engadget
Engadget editor Joshua Topolsky has one of the first shipped models of the JooJoo, the touchscreen wireless tablet computer designed largely by TechCrunch editor Michael Arrington and his readers.
Two and a half years after its inception, the dream is real. There’s a long story about how Arrington got cut out of the picture, but his gadget will still see the light of day.
The bad news is: No review. Topolsky gave his readers a ritual unboxing photo shoot, but says he won’t publish a review until next week. He won’t be putting it head to head against an iPad first thing Saturday morning. Note to JooJoo-maker Fusion Garage, who didn’t send me a review loaner: I told you so.
UPDATE: Fusion Garage called. We’re getting a loaner and a visit from CEO Chandra Rathakrishnan on Friday. We won’t make you wait for a post.
