Elephant Pharmacy Inc., an expanding chain of pharmacy and wellness stores, has raised $26 million in Series C equity financing.
New investor Tudor Investment Corp., a firm most known for hedge fund investments, led the round. Tudor Investment Corp. declined to specify what kind of funding was invested in Elephant Pharmacy. The Series C also included the participation of previous investor Bay Area Equity Fund, a $75 million venture capital fund managed by J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.
