Eventful, the San Diego start-up that lets you find events and then share those events with friends and others with RSS and other technologies, has raised $7.5 million more, according to VentureWire.

New investor Bay Partners led the round, and exisiting investors participated.

It is one of a string of event sites that are using "Web 2.0"-like technologies to try to improve on sites other event or invitation sites, such as Evite. There's Skobee, Renkoo, Socializr, all mining slightly different areas with different techniques.
