Primaeva Medical Inc., (no Website yet) a Palo Alto start-up developing a skin tightening and rejuvenation dermatological device, has raised $7 million in a second round of financing from its existing investors, according to VentureWire (sub required).

Delphi Ventures and Frazier Healthcare Ventures provided the financing, after investing $1.25 million earlier this year.

Primaeva was founded last year and has apparently completed animal trials. We wonder what an old dog looks like with tight skin.

It is just the latest company to go after what is most likely a huge market. We’ve written about BrighTex, and Thermage and Medicis Pharmaceutical.
