Today, technology startups are going to market without a venture dime to their name. The DEMO Conference understands that a lot of great startups are bootstrapped, which is why we introduced the DEMO Scholarship Partner Program. Twenty startups that have raised less than $500,000 will receive a full ride to the same conference that launched Salesforce, TiVo, E-Trade, Netscape and more. Furthermore, 10 angel-funded companies that have received less than $1.5 million in seed funding will be offered partial scholarships.
But let’s go one step further. With the overwhelming submission of excellent bootstrap companies trying to be seen, we have decided to offer those who do not receive a scholarship a scaled pricing program for DEMO Fall 2011. The alternate DEMO Fall 2011 pricing is as follows:
Raised $500k or less? Attend DEMO for $8,000.
Raised between $500k and $1.5M? Attend DEMO for $12,000.
Our goal is to showcase the most ground-breaking technology at DEMO and we don’t want to turn away any of the exceptional companies we have seen thus far. Leaving out a disruptive company because of finances is not an option. We want you experience DEMO’s powerful stage and take advantage of our growth-promoting opportunities.
What excites us is that all scholarship holders AND Scaled Pricing Program participants receive exactly what full-price paying demonstrators enjoy. You have the same opportunity to receive coaching, expert audio-visual aid for presentations, PR support, marketing support, high quality video, free participation at international DEMO conferences and continued exposure through objective VentureBeat articles. DEMO is an amazing opportunity to take not only your company name but also your product to the next level.
The deadline to apply for our September DEMO event in Silicon Valley scholarships is July 15, 2011.
We’d also like to say thank you to our sponsors, who see the value in disruptive technology.
The DEMO conference launches high-quality startups and products that deserve the tech main stage. There are no Powerpoint presentations here, just you, your product and your thoughts on how it is disruptive. Check back to the DEMOBeat channel to read more about DEMO alumni and where they have gone since launch.
