Lyft has raised $530M at a reported $3B valuation
Last night news broke that Lyft has raised a massive $530 million funding round, led by Japanese e-commerce giant Rakuten. Lyft confirmed the news today. The new money brings Lyft’s funding total up to $850 million.
SignalFuse rebrands as SignalFx and raises $28.5M
SignalFuse is today coming out of stealth mode and revealing the monitoring web-based software it devised, while also announcing a new company name: SignalFx.
The startup is also announcing that it’s picked up two rounds of venture-capital funding, which come out to a total of $28.5 million.
Fintech startup 'EVEN' raises $2.8M
New York-based Even, maker of a "peer-to-peer lending marketplace," today announced a $2.8 million raise led by Canaan Partners.

HopOn, a travel booking service with social features, today announced a $750,000 seed round led by NEA (New Enterprise Associates). The service launched today, too.
