Silvercar has signed Hall of Fame quarterback Troy Aikman as the spokesperson for its first-ever television commercial.

Austin, Texas-based Silvercar is a next-generation car rental company that takes the hassle out of renting a car at the airport. Back in January, Silvercar announced that it had raised $28 million from car manufacturer Audi to expand into other cities.

Silvercar uses valet-style greeters to meet you at the airport with your car. You no longer have to take a shuttle and wait in a long line at a car rental desk. You simply drop the greeter off at a nearby location, and then you’re on your way. The company offers just one kind of fully loaded car: a silver Audi A4s.

Silvercar said it saw its business triple in 2015, and it has opened in three new cities in the past six months. Started in 2012, it has more than 150 employees and has raised a total of $60 million.

Every Silvercar has premium features, such as a sunroof, leather seating surfaces, in-car Wi-Fi, quattro all-wheel drive, Sirius XM radio, and voice-controlled navigation. Audi and Silvercar are developing the Audi Shared Fleet, a turnkey solution for businesses that provide accessible transportation to employees on corporate campuses.

CEO Luke Schneider and the other founders got the idea after having one too many frustrating experiences at the rental car counter. Disgusted by a white minivan they had been “upgraded” to for a cool golf weekend, they realized that renting a car hadn’t really changed in decades, which started them thinking about Silvercar.

Aikman, who retired from the Dallas Cowboys and is now a current Fox Sports announcer, will be part of a bigger marketing campaign for the company. The TV spot is being produced by Virtue Worldwide and Pulse Films, two of VICE Media’s in-house creative agencies, and it begins airing today.

“Troy Aikman represents everything that we would want in a spokesperson for Silvercar,” said Schneider, in a statement. “As a businessman who is on the road constantly, he knows the importance of having a premium car rental experience at a great price. We look forward to having a long partnership with Troy.”

The debut commercial features Aikman, along with Judah Friedlander (“30 Rock”), and was filmed in Dallas. The commercial is a funny spoof on the perils of airport car rental with Aikman and Friedlander cast as two travelers going in completely opposite directions when it comes time to make a very crucial decision.

“I’ve been a fan of Silvercar since the first time that I used the service,” said Aikman, in a statement. “I represent companies that I truly believe in, and with the amount of time I travel, I’ve realized that Silvercar is the best car rental service available. It makes my travels simpler and easier to navigate.”

The company has expanded into Las Vegas, Brooklyn, and Newark this year. It also has locations in Austin, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Dallas, Denver, Miami, Phoenix, Fort Lauderdale, Chicago, Denver, and New York.
