London-based Fanvue, a platform focused on AI-powered creator monetization, has announced that it closed a $22 million Series A funding round. Led by Inner Circle—a prestigious network comprising over 50 exited founders, financiers, and icons from sports and entertainment—the round also features backing from Moonbug Entertainment founder René Rechtman and the founders of UK unicorn Marshmallow. The investment follows Fanvue reaching a $100 million annualized revenue run rate, reflecting continued growth and increased interest in its AI-enhanced tools.

Founded in 2020 by entrepreneurs Joel Morris, Will Monange, and Harry Fitzgerald, Fanvue’s success is deeply rooted in its commitment to the "Creator-AI Economy," where artificial intelligence serves as an enabler rather than a replacement for human creativity. With many creators adopting its proprietary AI features—such as predictive analytics, AI messaging agents, voice cloning in collaboration with ElevenLabs, and advanced image generation—Fanvue is addressing longstanding challenges like creator burnout and inefficient workflows.

"Our AI tools are designed to augment creativity, allowing ambitious individuals to focus on ideation and fan engagement while helping to scale their business," said Co-Founder Will Monange. "We've seen firsthand how AI democratizes the space, turning barriers into opportunities and enabling a new generation of creators to thrive."

The $22 million infusion will accelerate Fanvue's international expansion from its Canary Wharf headquarters. Priorities include enhancing AI capabilities, such as developing personalized AI coaches for content strategy and revenue optimization, and forging deeper partnerships to combat issues like deepfakes through integrations with detection specialists like Hive. This strategic focus aligns with the creator economy's projected growth to nearly $500 billion by 2027, where Fanvue's subscription-based model—charging a 20% fee on average $12.50 monthly subscriptions—empowers creators to retain more of their earnings, creating new opportunities for creators worldwide.

Fanvue's trajectory is bolstered by high-profile signings, including Swiss footballer Alisha Lehmann, demonstrating the platform's efforts to attract top talent seeking diversified income streams. Monange says, “AI isn't about automation—it's about liberation. Stories like those of our creators, from musicians overcoming personal challenges to athletes building empires, show how Fanvue is making the creator economy accessible to all.” This focus on empowering creators highlights Fanvue's commitment to their success and inspires confidence in its future impact.

The latest funding round marks a new chapter for the company as it continues developing its AI-enabled tools for creators.
