VB Pulse is the monthly research series from VB Intelligence. Each VB Pulse report surveys enterprise technology decision-makers on one part of the AI stack, from the compute underneath it to the agents running on top, and shows what they are buying, building and struggling with right now.

Tracking AI month over month
AI is moving too fast for an annual survey to keep up. VB Pulse asks enterprise AI leaders the same core questions every month, so each new VB Pulse report can be read against the one before it. That month-over-month view lets VB Intelligence spot trends as they form, see when budgets, priorities or vendor choices start to shift, and separate lasting change from a single month's noise.
The result is a running picture of how enterprise AI is actually being built and adopted, updated every month, rather than a one-time snapshot that is out of date by the time it is published.
Methodology
VB Pulse reports are based on online surveys conducted by VB Intelligence among enterprise AI leaders recruited from across VentureBeat's owned and operated network, including our readership, newsletter subscribers and event communities. Respondents are screened to confirm they hold decision-making or influencing roles over AI strategy, technology and spending at their organizations, from practitioners and directors through VPs and the C-suite.
Each monthly VB Pulse report focuses on one area of the enterprise AI stack and is fielded during the month shown on the report. Results are reported as the share of qualified respondents giving each answer, and every VB Pulse report includes its own respondent profile and detailed methodology, covering sample size, company size, industry and role.
